HIV-NAT is a collaboration between Thailand, Australia and the Netherlands in order to conduct clinical research according to international standards of Good Clinical Practice. HIV-NAT was established in 1996 under the care of Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok. The primary focus of HIV-NAT is in the development of appropriate and affordable treatment for people living with HIV and AIDS in Thailand and the region. Apart from clinical research, HIV-NAT also initiates activities such as symposiums, scholarship programs, and art camps for HIV infected children. A number of these initiatives have been carried out with the support of ArtAids
