Patiroop Chychookiat initially studied sciences at university before becoming an artist. He works with found objects and often in the mode of conceptual art. Chychookiat’s works are playful and appealing but reveal a great underlying intelligence. He was selected in Brand New Project in 2006, a project support talented emerging artists organized by Bangkok University.

The Work: A challenging intervention into the context of More to Love, Chychookiat requested his fellow artists to have a HIV test and he presented the results publicly. The work presents not only an awareness among people who involve in the project, but also to challenge their prejudice and attitude.
